Come out and discover the joy of birdwatching. Join local birders Pat and Rod Sein to learn about birding basics. (experts are welcome too!). 

We will begin with a discussion about the starting principles for entry level birdwatchers. What to look for when you see a bird, what to listen for, size, shape, activity and habitat where you see the bird. Then we will go on a short, easy hike to use your new skills to identify birds.  

Wear a hat, hiking boots or sturdy running shoes, dress for weather conditions, bring water and snacks. Bring your binoculars. Max 10 participants.
