Bird Walk

Come out and discover the joy of birdwatching. Join local birders Pat and Rod Sein to learn about the Wonder of Warblers. Experts are welcome too!

We will begin with a discussion about the starting principles for entry level birdwatchers -- what to look for when you see a bird, what to listen for, the size, shape, and activity of the bird, and habitat where you see the bird. Then we will go on a short, easy hike to use your new skills to identify birds.

Wear a hat, hiking boots or sturdy running shoes, dress for weather conditions, bring water and snacks. Bring your binoculars. Max 12 participants.
