This experience is rated easy to moderate. We’ll be walking in the dark and will need to be very quiet. Not recommended for children under 8. No pets please.
When: This +/- 2.5 hours (depending on conditions) adventure runs from the end of January to the beginning of April
What to bring:
- Weather-appropriate clothing -- this is a rain, snow, or (moon) shine event
- Water or a warm beverage
- A headlamp (extra headlamps are available if you don't have one)

Listen for the hoots of owls! Learn about and watch for flying squirrels! In the past we have been honoured to hear the haunting calls of 3 different owl species! What will this year bring?

Your walk features interpretive stops highlighting significant local features, animal tracking and exploring different forest types. We’ll even stop halfway at a cozy spot for hot chocolate. If the evening is clear, discover some late winter celestial sights in our incredible Dark Sky Preserve.
