PADI Women's Dive Day Fundraising Event July 17-19, 2026

Jul 17-19, 2026 ~ PADI Women Dive Day

Get ready to make a splash for conservation! In celebration of PADI Women’s Dive Day, the Biosphere Association is partnering with Dive Life Tobermory to host an immersive three-day regional fundraiser in the depths of Fathom Five National Marine Park.

This weekend isn’t just about diving; it’s about Citizen Science. Whether you are a seasoned diver or a curious snorkeler, you’ll receive specialized training to help us monitor and protect the underwater ecosystems of the nearshore waters of the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.

Highlights include a deep dive into Lake Huron’s "hidden" biodiversity with ecologist Jenna McGuire, hands-on workshops in underwater sketching, and specialized missions to document marine life using iNaturalist. Whether you are a certified scuba diver, a snorkeler, or a curious landlubber, you’ll be contributing directly to local conservation. From our "Waves of Change" reception to our closing debrief, this event is designed to build confidence, foster stewardship, and connect a community passionate about protecting our vibrant turquoise waters.

Certified Scuba Divers - $450

Snorkelers - $125

All profits from the excursions offered by Dive Life Tobermory are generously donated back to Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association to directly support conservation projects on the Saugeen Bruce Peninsula.
