Earth Day Celebration at the Lindsay Tract Trails!
Saturday, April 22nd
Wetlands play a key role in conserving the natural environment of the entire Bruce Peninsula and in maintaining its biodiversity.
Join us for a free Earth Day event organized by the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), the Bruce Peninsula Environment Group (BPEG), the Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association (BPBA), and Bruce Peninsula National Park (BPNP). The day will feature guided hikes by Miptoon, an elder from Neyaashiinigmiing, and local biologists Esme Batten and Tyler Miller.
Please note that you must register for the hikes as there is limited capacity (maximum 20 persons for each hike). Following lunch and information booths on local conservation initiatives there will be three presentations on local conservation issues and efforts on the Bruce Peninsula.
